Job Objective:
- Responsible to enhance channel general policies and ensure alignment with Group TV and corporate policies along with Channel Manager.
- Participate in the generation of production ideas and follow up with MBC production team to enhance standard and quality of produced work to fit channel needs.
- Identify creative activation ideas to potentially generate non-conventional revenues in coordination with Marketing/Commercial team
- Prepare Quarterly Reports and annual Channel Plan, along with Channel Management
- Create monthlystatus reports on movie channels with recommendations on for broadcast and digital scope
- Produce a competitive analysis report based on competitor’s content and activities.
- Work closely with Channel manager to evaluate and assess current content, and recommend new content based on market research and trend.
- Keep up to date with the latest movie releases and digital/social media trends, to identify opportunities and learning that could be utilized.
Requirements:
- Holder of Bachelor Degree in Mass Communication from a reputable University
- Proven administrative experience, preferably within a media environment: The applicant should have a strong administrative background, with 2-3 years of experience of working in the TV industry.
- Knowledge and understanding of Social Media platforms and their respective participants (Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, etc.)
- Excellent IT Skills on basic systems e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Extreme proficiency on Microsoft Excel at an advanced level.
- Strong organizations skills, ability to priorities and demonstrate attention to detail
- To be pro-active and demonstrate initiative
- Good team player
- Excellent communication skills and ability to deal with people at all levels.
